Thermostat

To ensure even engine temperature, we suggest that you drill a small 1/8 inch hole in the flange. This will allow some fluid to flow thru the engine even when the thermostat is closed. This prevents one section of the engine from becoming warmer that the other.

Above: Using a 1/8 inch drill bit, drill a single hole thru the flange.

Above: The thermostat after it has been drilled.
